Recent visits to Skomer Island, with their puffin and gannet communities, led Alison to concentrate on a whole new body of work. Her wildlife pieces are raku or smoke fired to create interesting and unique glazes, patterns and textures. All are handbuilt using a slabbing method, like the figures, or sculpted.
